The Story
Dutch pirate, David Marteen and his band of buccaneers, sailed up the Farmington River in 1655 and settled near Salmon Brook in what is now present-day Granby, Connecticut. But they didn’t stay long. After being accosted by the locals, Marteen and his pirates sailed away, leaving behind an enormous amount of buried treasure they had pillaged from the Caribbean years prior. With the intent of one day returning, Marteen left five marked stones that would lead him back to his hidden prized possession.
...But he never made it back alive.
The Mission
You are a team of treasure hunters that has stumbled across an abandoned cabin near Salmon Brook that may hold the secrets to Marteen’s lost treasure. But there are other interested parties afoot. Can you decipher the clues, solve the puzzles and find the treasure before it’s too late?

SPECIAL NOTES
This is our most complex and difficult Adventure. It is best suited for larger team sizes or more experienced players.
What to Expect Inside Raiders II
Raiders II and the Rooms of Doom is REACT's largest and most complex adventure — a multi-room experience that takes your team from the weathered interior of an abandoned forest cabin into the hidden underground chambers where Marteen's secrets have been buried for centuries.
The adventure begins the moment your group steps inside. The first environment immerses you in the atmosphere of the cabin itself — worn surfaces, scattered artifacts, and the unmistakable sense that someone was here not long ago and left in a hurry. Your team will need to search carefully, think critically, and communicate constantly. Hidden compartments, disguised clues, and layered puzzles reward groups that divide and conquer rather than crowd around a single problem.
As you progress deeper, the environment shifts. The cabin gives way to something older and more deliberately concealed — underground spaces that feel genuinely discovered rather than designed, even though every detail has been crafted by hand. The challenges evolve with the setting: physical coordination, logic sequences, and teamwork-dependent mechanisms that cannot be solved by one person working alone. Every puzzle is connected to the story. Nothing is arbitrary.
This is not a game you can muscle through with brute force or lucky guesses. Raiders II rewards groups that communicate out loud, assign roles naturally, and stay composed when the clock becomes uncomfortable. Experienced players consistently rate it as one of the most satisfying escape room challenges in the region — not because it is overwhelming, but because when your team finally cracks it, every step of the solution makes sense in retrospect.
For groups of 8 or more, the multi-path structure means different teams can be working different sections of the adventure simultaneously, which dramatically increases the energy and pace of the game. Smaller groups will find it a genuine test of lateral thinking and persistence. Either way, plan for sixty minutes of full engagement — this one uses every second.
